Today's predators live and hunt in a number of different ways. Let's talk about how we think predatory dinosaurs may have lived and hunted. Did they live and hunt alone or did they live and hunt in family groups? What do you think?

Picture yourself in either the Jurassic or Cretaceous periods. You're a predatory dinosaur and you're out on a hunt. You come across what may be a potential meal but your intended target is either very well armoured or much larger in size than you. What would you do: risk launching an attack or back off in favour of hunting something that's easier to kill?

did you know, that, real lizards,
just use, pain complexes, to itch and morph their bodies, like, faster and more efficiently than any other animal I can think of, right now just now?
like, what if one was a monster? it'd just, be trying to rip into and kill things, for ceaseless hours, every day all day, ever seen how fast a lizard loses its legs, to,
get away?
so like, how often is it losing limbs? do monster lizard, just turn into snakes, because they can't keep up the legs and tail ends growing back?
how uh, fast, could real ones just grow huge? there's millions of trippy, different colors, horns, sizes, all over the world, right? of lizards?
how did you go to find the island without the other killers, so they could grow up?
the queen of spain told you not to sail too far; the ocean just loops back around?
before that, if you reach the end of the earth, you'll fall off the edge, and there be dragons...
wait like, what if your crew, sailed far enough, and saw the dinosaur islands?
oh, dragons at the world's end; we're getting too close, MUTINY!
pretty good, for maintaining your empire...
far far did you sail, before the ocean looped back around?
do you think real lizards could still do it? turn great?
hi, I'm jericho, what's up? I like lizards... how are you? what do you think?

I recommend reading Chapter 4 of Naish/Barrett's Dinosaurs: How They Lived and Evolved (which I reviewed: http://blogevolved.blogspot.com/2017/09/my-20th-pair-of-reviews.html ).
