I think a Raptor sized Indominus makes the most sense, since they foreshadowed that creature concept at the end of JW just before Hoskins bites it. What I am curious about if such a hybrid does appear is how this will affect the role of the "normal" raptors in the sequel.

Well so far Blue is the only raptor on the island, so I have a guess as to how they plan to introduce more raptors. Just a guess though as maybe Wu had some raptor dna when he left the island originally.
I thought there was wild raptors? like in that one old jurassic world poster.

That poster was confirmed to not being related to the film itself, I mean the film confirmed there were only 4 Raptors on Nublar, all the JP ones died in the 93 incident.

Yep. Remember the good old days when we all thought for sure there were Dino's in the restricted zone? Lol

Also Sickle I love that concept, although imo it looks just a bit too similar to the JP3 one.

Wouldn't be surprised if this is how it ends up looking.

*major spoilers tag* Just in case.

Looks pretty close to me. Actually, the head reminds me of my own theory. That the mystery dino we've seen is in fact the hybrid:

I really like that idea.... although surely they wouldn't put that out in front of us would they? If that ends up being the case you the real MVP lol

I figure they think it's better revealed and discussed now than discovered on some paper plates like last time.

If this ends up being the hybrid...OMG.

I just hope this hybrid is more intelligent than Indominus rex, and also have the same agressive and psychopathic attitude the Big One had in the first movie, callous and calculating every move, not a crazy rampaging hybrid like Indominus. A really sinister creature that you can see the inteligence in it's eyes.  I would love to see an Alien type scenes in this movie with this new hybrid, where it plans to kill the characters in a quiet yet disturbing way. That would add for a dark movie.

Of course by inteligent I don't mean full self awareness or sh*t like B movies.

Looks almost exactly like a chunkier JP3 male raptor.

I know. That was my first thought when I saw the first descriptions of the beast. I do wonder if Lockwood has been splicing several different forms of raptor.

Maybe I. rex had Sorna raptor DNA or of the Sorna raptors gave Wu the base genome for this new hybrid.

I really dug the idea of Dinosaurs being in the restricted zone! I always assumed t he tamed Raptors would come across wild Raptors and have a cool little standoff or something.

Do you remember what the description said? I'd like to hear it. Imagine a pack of Indominus Raptors going after our protagonists in the Manor during the final act. They could even have some parallel scenes with the skeletons like in the final act of Jurassic Park in the visitor center. All this directed by J.A. Bayona. I'm so excited for this film!

The Proto-Indominus as the replacement for the Raptors makes a lot of sense, especially if we are going from the wide open spaces of Nublar to the enclosed Lockwood Manor. What I wonder is if they will have another large theropod kill them off or will they be able to re-use the deleted ending from the first film by having them shot (by Lockwood) or killed by collapsing skeletons...

There are a lot of skeletons in the mansion too. Just saying.

I'm still confused as to why there is even a new hybrid. Story wise it makes sense but colin made a big deal about how the irex was the only hybrid but now there is supposedly a new one. Hes writing the story so i guess he changed his mind or something
