Something I was thinking about recently - for those who've read the Michael Crichton novel Congo (or seen Frank Marshall's movie version), do you think there may be an connection between Peter Elliot and his gorilla Amy and Owen and Blue in the JW films (especially as Marshall was involved in both)?

In Congo, Peter Elliot is a primatologist who teaches Amy how to communicate through sign language, and the pair have a very close bond, especially in the movie where there's kind-of a father/child relationship. There's a juxoposion between Amy, and the wild killer gorillas in the jungle...similarly to how there's a juxtaposition between Blue and the other dinosaurs - or even the other raptors.

Any validity to this, or not, hmmmmm?

I'm not sure there is anything to support the idea that they are related in anyway, that said, its a very interesting parallel
