^ That's what I'm hoping to see. The default Stego models are kinda horrible, imo. With Mamenchi being a "new species", and on the massive side, that's another that I'm really curious to see. Likewise for tiny Compy.

It's times like this that I'd like to throw many things in my life to the side so that I could dedicate myself to JPOG modding full time. :p

Real life has priority over mod work for us these past months. I've modelled a good chunk of creatures this summer in my small available time (mamenchi, anky, rexes, segi, herrera, procerato, metri, etc), but before I can showcase them in Blender or in game I'd rather wait until their finalized skins are deemed ready by and sent from Megaspino.

More plants have been modelled and edited (including a willow tree) for FTK whom has been beautifully skinning them in his limited free time and I too can't wait to see more screenshots Smile. But try to keep in mind folks, there's no incentive for finishing the mod anytime soon, more time spent on it will lead to more quality. The mod < real life responsibilities

About the more modelling intensive creatures, certain individuals like stegosaurus and mamenchi (to name a few), will require editing existing or making new animations, and an edited skeleton, to work properly in game the way many would imagine them to. IF tinkering with those features are still on equinox's list for the tool, then you could expect to possibly see those models ingame one day, one pretty far off day Smile

@LostWorld Some interesting developments with the tool (only model stuff though to my knowledge) have been briefly discussed in the "Jurassic Park: Advanced Operation Genesis" topic.

Thanks a lot for the update. It's well understood that real life takes priority over JPOG stuff, which is why there is absolutely no rush in doing the work and then getting out a release. I was mostly just curious about where things were at, in general, with FCM HD since the tool has come into play. We all very much appreciate what you guys are doing for JPOG in your available time.

I would assume that this mod will come out sometime in 2018. (the year when jurassic world fallen kingdom is in theaters)

Also will this mod be on moddb as soon as it releases ?

A new tool is being developed by the amazing HENDRIX (with the awesome help of Equinox) which directly imports TMDs and their tkl files(animation files) directly into blender.  Each of these dinos has edited animations as well as an edited skeleton.

YES! At least one version of Operation Genesis will have the Stegosaurus' tails be anatomically correct! I don't know why The Lost World has so far been the only one to do them right, even their cameo appearance in JP3 looked like it had a more old fashioned tail posture.

So good to finally see those WIP's. Great work so far, jam!

I'm really happy for those that made attempts at modeling with the old Hex editor way. And now, more people are popping up and helping to make even further advancements to bring more out of JPOG.

The .tmd tool has created some major setbacks, but in the end the final result will be much better and worth the wait. It has been a couple months since any news, so it would be nice to get a status update at least every month. I'm so anxious to see where this thing is at, but I totally understand that there are very few people working on this mod. It's a lot to do when trying to fit that into real life obligations/commitments, especially when done mostly out of pure passion and for free.

FCM:HD and PMEP2 could be another year away for all we know (and by then JWE will be where everyone most likely will be at). It would be awesome to get the current builds released soon to keep followers interest, and then get updates added on as they become available, but I understand artistic integrity. It's like releasing a long awaited album when it's just 75% finished.

And, FTK... where on this Earth are yoooouuuu? *waves vehemently*
